The Iranian Minister of Transport, Rostam Qasemiwas photographed during a vacation in Malaysia in the company of his bare-headed partner. The images disseminated on social media by the Iranian activist journalist Masih Alinejad have become a case that raises new accusations about the hypocrisy of the Iranian regime, which at home uses a very hard fist against those who dare to show themselves without hijab, as dramatically demonstrated by the cases from Mahsa Amini onwards, which have sparked violent protests in the country for over a month. «Women are killed in Iran for not wearing thehijab – writes Alinejad – but look how the main general of the Revolutionary Guards and current Minister of Transport, Rostam Qasemi, enjoys freedom with his girl without a veil in Malaysia. The hypocritical regime – adds the journalist – is killing teenagers because they walk the streets without a veil ». The photos would have been taken in 2011 a Kuala Lumpurwhile the current minister and his fiancée were on vacation near the Petronas Towers.
