Reruns of the beloved fiction “The investigations of Lolita Lobosco” are underway. And then the concert by Alessandra Amoroso at the San Siro stadium, precious documents on Pope John Paul I and two great films. Let’s read some proposals for the television evening on the first day of September.
The investigations of Lolita Lobosco (21.25, Rai 1)
Waiting to see the eagerly awaited second season, starting this evening Rai 1 re-proposes the first episodes of “The investigations of Lolita Lobosco”. Interpreted by a perfect Luisa Ranieri, the woman is an assistant superintendent who is transferred from Legnano to Bari, her hometown. Tonight we review the case of Stefano Morelli, an old acquaintance of Lolita, accused of sexual abuse by his assistant.
The great story (21.25, Rai 3)
In his program Paolo Mieli speaks to us this evening of Pope John Paul I. Born with the name of Albino Luciani on October 17, 1912, he was elected Pope on August 26, 1978 and died in the Vatican of a heart attack on September 28, 1978. A papacy of only 33 days and an imminent beatification by Pope Francis: the event is scheduled for 4 September.
Alessandra Amoroso: Everything happens at San Siro (21.20, Canale 5)
Recording of the concert held by singer Alessandra Amoroso last July 13 at the San Siro stadium in Milan. About 150 minutes of show, 30 songs, eight regular musicians, an orchestra of 47 elements (conducted by maestro Pino Perris), 90 dancers and 42,000 spectators. Mind-boggling numbers that represent, for the artist discovered by the talents “Amici”, the crowning achievement of her career.
The concert schedule and all the information
Overtaking (21.00, Cine 34)
The most famous August 15th of our cinema: in a deserted Rome the extrovert and scoundrel Bruno Cortona runs around in the car with the shy Roberto. One of the key films to understand the stature of the so-called “Italian comedy”. A fun but merciless journey through the Italy of the economic boom. The lightness of the system is crossed by the complexity of the whole: the analysis of the prevailing superficiality is evident and the finish could not be less consoling. One of the most celebrated tests of Vittorio Gassman but, recently disappeared, Jean-Louis Trintignat and Catherine Spaak are to be reported.CopyAMP code.
The Big Lebowski (21.00, Twenty Seven)
Neo-noir according to the Coen brothers: ex hippy Jeffrey Lebowski is hired by a rich man whose wife they have kidnapped. Lebowski must act as an intermediary for the ransom, but things are not what they seem. The story is a pretext for a funny but melancholy fresco. The characters are memorable and the cult sequences abundant. But that of the Coens is a world that is never an end in itself, full of classic cinema and a moral stature that few other contemporary cults have.
