It is a Sunday morning of pain and suffering; not only for Cervinara, but for the whole of Irpinia. A very serious accident occurred at 4 o’clock of the night just passed, in via San Cosma in Cervinara (Avellino), where a red Fiat 500 with four girls on board, all 28 years old from Cervinara, lost control and ended up against a enclosure wall that bordered the road. Unfortunately, two girls lost their lives in the violent impact, while the other two were extracted in collaboration with the 118 health workers and transported one to the Moscati hospital in Avellino and the other to the San Pio hospital in Benevento. After the findings of the coroner, the two bodies were recovered. The Fire Brigade team from the Bonea detachment of the Benevento Command and one of the Avellino Fire Brigade intervened first. The crashed vehicle has been secured.
