In the 2 uninominal college of Fuorigrotta there will be a challenge between two ex-Berlusconi of weight. It is about Maria Rosaria Rossi and of Mara Carfagnaboth left Forza Italia albeit with different ways and timing: the first to leave was Rossi, who however remained in the center-right, embracing the cause of Giovanni Toti and therefore of Noi moderati.
The farewell of Carfagna is instead fresher: the minister has left the party of Silvio Berlusconi after this he did not vote his trust in Mario Draghi, becoming co-responsible for the fall of the government. Carfagna passed with Action together with Gelmini: it will therefore run for the third pole in this electoral round, among other things in a district that includes almost half the city of Naples. The competition is high, given that Luigi Di Maio – candidate for Pd and center-left – and Sergio Costa, minister at M5s, also run in the same college.
“Carfagna is only here to help Di Maio – it was Rossi’s attack on her former party colleague – every vote given to her is an advantage and a favor done to him. In any case, the outgoing minister has no chance of making it in Fuorigrotta, and I don’t feel defeated ”. The fact that two former “pupils” of the Cav compete in the same college is not particularly relevant, but it is certainly a touch of color..
