The state of deterioration that has characterized the Colonna Galleria railway station for some time now persists.

In this regard, the mayor of Colonna, Fausto Giuliani sent a new report to the Ferrovie dello Stato Group requesting an urgent joint inspection to verify the state of dilapidation of the places and intervene as soon as possible.

“Specifically – writes the mayor in the letter addressed to Ferrovie – the staircase is completely uneven and has no lighting, which makes it more dangerous; even the canopy lacks a lighting system and the ceiling has considerable water infiltration with the consequent risk of falling from slipping. Furthermore, at present, neither the validating machine nor the arrivals/departures monitor are functioning”.

An inspection actually already planned last year but which then seems to have been postponed for various reasons. Today, however, as the mayor points out, the situation can no longer wait because the station needs urgent interventions relating to the safety of those who frequent the station, which must be planned and scheduled shortly.
