They have risen, as expected, and quite a bit i fuel prices after the stop to the cut of excise duties decided by the Government. And if there have been some “adjustments downwards”, compared to the first few days of the year, the costs per liter remain high even after Wednesday’s drop in international oil prices (quotations then went up again on Thursday and Friday, in particular on diesel). But how much, and especially where, can you save a few cents in our area?
Petrol and diesel, the prices in the Lower Bergamo area and in the Upper Crema area
On this page we have taken stock of the prices charged for petrol and diesel in the Lower Bergamo area and in the Upper Crema area. The Ministry of Economic Development in fact, it publishes a database every day with the prices applied by all the pumps in Italy. Not all distributors update the price on a daily basis, but the ones we have extrapolated are the most recent releases from the managers, and all relating to as late as Monday of last week (January 2nd). The most up-to-date instead relate to yesterday, Sunday 8. The fuels taken into consideration are simple petrol and diesel, and the prices refer to the “self service”.
The prices in Treviglio
In Treviglio, for example, for a liter of gas they range from 1.779 euros for the white pumps in viale Merisio and via Calvenzano, up to 1.847 for viale Manzoni. The liter of diesel instead it goes from 1.839 in viale Merisio to 1.889 euros per liter in viale Col di Lana. Minimal variations, but which on the “full” can make a small difference.
Cutting excise duties on fuel
The Meloni government has decided to cancel the discount which since March allowed us to save 30.5 cents per liter every time we stopped to fill up. In November, the cut had gone from 30.5 to 18 cents, while in 2023 fuel returned to full price, exceeding 1.8 euros per liter for self-service and in some cases 2 euros per liter for self-service.CopyAMP code.
