SIUSI. Fire in Siusi in the early hours of the morning. The roof of a house is on fire. It was just before 3 when the fire broke out in the chimney of a residential building in via Burgfrieden in Siusi and then spread to the roof.
90 firefighters on site, who managed to limit the damage by working for two hours. They climbed onto the roof, cut it with chainsaws and then put out the fire. Half of the roof burned down, but the three apartments of the house remained practically intact.
The volunteer firefighters of Siusi allo Sciliar and Castelrotto, the volunteer firefighters of Fiè and the carabinieri intervened.
