PHOTOS/ VILLA RIPA EXPLAINS TO TODAY’S CHILDREN (INSTITUTE OF POPPA-ROZZI) THE ANCIENT TRADITIONS OF THE COUNTRY
Villa Ripa welcomes the students of class 1E Enogastronomy accompanied by professors Anna Cantoresi, Daniela Di Nicola, Manola Di Felice from the Poppa Rozzi institute directed by professor Caternia Provvisiero.
The visit to the medieval village was organized thanks to the synergy between the Institute and the San Martino Cultural Association as told by the president of the Miriam Tullii Association, both engaged in projects to support Culture through the extraordinary tool of Reading.
As part of the IOLEGGOPERCHÉ initiative, the kids tried their hand at reading in an informal context, they visited the Bogo di Villa Ripa along the Sentiero dei Turchi.
It is a suggestive itinerary that the San Martino Cultural Association has rediscovered and inaugurated to promote the value of memory and care for one’s own territory by carrying out the annual ORA LAB project.
A path that allows you to visit a place of ancient origins and that tells of an economy based on the use of water, of ancient fountains, bridges and mills, of an ancient lineage such as that of the Turchi family who governed the Borgo for hundreds of years helping to make the hamlet of Villa Ripa a privileged place where many still return to live today.
