STOP – After the first four last week, the Town Council has approved two other final projects relating to as many interventions within the “Innovative Program for the Quality of Living” (PInQUA) of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, which is which in 2021 earned the Municipality of Fermo, within the PNRR, the recognition of the contribution of 15 million euros. In addition to these, in consideration of the fact that the assignment of the works will take place before the end of 2022, the Municipal Authority will benefit overall for this redevelopment of an additional 3 million euros.
In recent days, after having approved the draft agreement with Adriatica spa, owner of the area, preparatory to the urban planning variant necessary for the works envisaged by the project, the Giunta had given the go-ahead for the definitive planning for the construction of a cultural center in the ex church of the Tannery, a training centre/multi-purpose public space, a district heating management and production plant and the redevelopment of green areas, with meeting spaces.
Now the Municipal Executive has approved two other projects (see graph) which concern respectively:
First of all, the renovation of a building to be used as a social rehabilitation centre, with functions of reception, support and socialization through initiatives and recreational, artistic and educational activities. It will be an environmentally friendly building, a construction that will avoid excessive energy consumption, will be equipped with a photovoltaic roof and systems aimed at saving energy;
The construction of an open space building to be used as a theater and group events is also planned. A project with which you want to create a room in which there is a close relationship between stage space and space for the public, a unitary space in order to encourage interaction between actors and spectators..
“Other projects that are part of the overall great evolution of the neighborhood that will bring services, urban quality, economy and population. Cutting-edge projects that are making great strides – said Mayor Paolo Calcinaro.CopyAMP code
As these are definitive public works projects, the Councilor for Public Works and Community Policies Ingrid Luciani said: “these are two other projects that are part of the overall urban regeneration and redevelopment plan of the former tannery, a recognition for the Municipality of Fermo which had arrived last year after the Organization had presented its candidacy to be able to access the Program (PInQUA). Overall a synergistic work that sees the work of several municipal sectors that I thank, from Community Policies to Public Works, from Culture to Urban Planning, to Social Services “.
