In the morning the mayor of Udine Pietro Fontanini, accompanied by the city planning councilor Giulia Manzan, visited the houses that will be demolished in the San Domenico district. The latter are involved in the national innovative program on the quality of living, financed with Pnrr funds. The removals of the affected residents from the municipal lot will start next week.
The mayor listened to the needs of some families in the neighborhood who raised problems relating to their movement. At the end of a meeting that lasted over an hour at the Piergiorgio community, Fontanini accepted the requests that he received, guaranteeing financial support to those who move. “The Municipality will be close to these people in difficulty – the mayor said -, we will help them, given the costs they will have to face to adapt some parts of the house they will live in. I am confident because we are committed to facilitating their transfer. “.
Giorgio Michelutti, president of Ater, was also present at the meeting, who listened carefully to the questions posed by families, defining the discussion as fruitful. “Yesterday was the day of listening – the words of the Ater leader – the issues expressed are various and delicate. A move is a Source of stress and we need to work together. Now I will bring the requests to Ater to understand the strategies and the measures to be taken to resolve these situations “.
At the end of the meeting, the city planning councilor Giulia Manzan closed the rumor: “In parallel with the listening process with the residents, a phase of participation has begun to share the realization of the final / executive project that will be delivered by professionals to the Municipality by the end of 2022 “.CopyAMP code.
