Starting this week, Sony Pictures is returning to cinemas around the world Spider-Man: No Way Home (in Italy it will be distributed from 18 to 22 September), the 2021 film directed by Jon Watts, in an extended version, with the addition of previously cut parts and a new scene after the credits.
Subtitled “The More Fun Stuff Version”, the new version of Spider-Man: No Way Home it will present 11 additional minutes compared to the previous version, including a post-credit scene that will replace the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which previously closed the screening.
In the new after-credits scene, we see Betty Brant (played by Angourie Rice) conducting her latest edition of the school newsletter before graduation. We are shown photos of the school activities, including the trip to Europe by Spider-Man: Far From Home of 2019. However, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is absent from the photos.
The scene therefore shows the practical effects of the magic launched by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in the film’s finale: the sorcerer erased the existence of Peter Parker not only from people’s memories, but also from physical (and digital) objects such as photos.
Directed by Jon Watts – former director of Homecoming And Far From Home – the film stars Tom Holland (Peter Parker / Spider-Man), Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker / Spider-Man), Tobey Maguire (Peter Parker / Spider-Man), Zendaya (MJ), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Stephen Strange) ), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Marisa Tomei (May Parker), Benedict Wong (Wong), Willem Dafoe (Norman Osborn / Goblin), Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus) and Jamie Foxx (Electro) .CopyAMP code.
