(ANSA) – VENICE, 19 SEPTEMBER – Tastings, stays, guided tours, workshops, performances, readings, conferences, extraordinary openings in places not usually open to visitors. And again: green walks, yoga, fresco workshops.
These are the proposals on the calendar from 22 to 23 October for the Day of the Venetian Villas.
This first edition of the event is declined in a long series of events, organized for the entire weekend involving over 50 Venetian Villas, scattered between Veneto and Friuli, which have organized more than 70 proposals, among them organized according to major thematic strands: Heritage , Green; Family, Food; Dream.
You can range from the beauty of unique architectural assets in the world, some already Unesco Heritage, to landscape scenarios of inestimable suggestion. It is an event organized by the Association for the Venetian Villas, chaired by Isabella Collalto de Croÿ, with the collaboration and support of the Irvv, Istituto Regionale Ville Venete, chaired by Amerigo Restucci, who have always been committed to the protection, safeguarding and enhancement of this widespread museum: over 4,000 villas located between the regions of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Of these, 800 are now open to the public.
