(ANSA) – BARI, 17 SEPTEMBER – Fefè De Giorgi, coach of the Italian volleyball team who won the World Cup last Sunday, will be the testimonial of the ‘Apheresis Summer School’ (a technique that consists in removing toxic impurities from the blood) which will be held in Puglia in September 2023.
The Italian coach, originally from Squinzano (Lecce), participated this morning in Brindisi at the 12th national conference of the ‘Therapeutic Apheresis’ project group of the Italian Society of Nephrology. And on this occasion there was the announcement of the role that next year De Giorgi will play in the scientific conference which will develop with an intensive course lasting one week and will be reserved for 20 young nephrologists. To organize the Summer school Luigi Vernaglione, director of the complex structure of Nephrology of the ‘Perrino’ and national coordinator of the project. Fefè De Giorgi, is also linked to Brindisi for family reasons: his sister is a nephrologist at the Perrino hospital. (HANDLE).
