Curious episode in Moto3 on the occasion of qualifying for the Aragon GP, with Adrian Fernandez who was held back by two members of Max Biaggi’s team.
Eventful day in Spain on the occasion of the qualifying Aragon Grand Prix. Particularly curious what happened during the fight for pole position in Moto3. What was discussed was not a race situation on the track, but a truly unprecedented scene on the pitlane, with a trail of considerable controversy and the possibility of disciplinary measures on the way.
Moments of tension therefore in Aragon on the occasion of the Q2 of qualifying Moto3. Everything seemed to go smoothly, especially from the point of view of the competition until the crime occurred in the pit area. Protagonist, or rather victim, of the situation Adrian Fernandez home driver of Red Bull KTM Tech 3. The latter was in fact leaving the pitlane to go out on the track and try to join the best. Suddenly, however, Fernandez did not find the green light, due to the presence of two experts from another team.
An unacceptable behavior and a sabotage, in an attempt to complicate the plans of Fernandez who among other things in the past was a driver of the team of the former Italian two-wheel legend. At that point the mechanics of the Tech3 Team lost their patience and tried to push away the opponents even by shoving them. In the meantime, however, the damage had been done, as the Spaniard’s bike died. Furthermore, according to what was revealed by some reporters on Twitter, it seems that one of the rival mechanics also pressed the front brake of the bike
The Tech3 Team felt deufraded by its opponents and for this reason, it shared the video of what happened on social media, accompanied by these words: “This is what happened in Moto3 Q2 today. Adri Fernandez was denied to go out to try to set the best time, by another team. Unacceptable”. The pilot, on the other hand, retweeted everything, with ironic applause. And now measures are expected against Max Biaggi’s team.CopyAMP code.
