In the violent clash that took place for futile reasons in Sestri Levante between two groups of young and very young (7 minors) an 18-year-old from Lavagna was hit with a stab in the abdomen

GENOA – The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Sestri Levante (Genoa), at the end of a complex investigative activity, reported for aggravated brawl 16 young people including 7 minors.

The episode dates back to the night of last July 28that the intersection of via XXV Aprile, via Palestro and vico Lombardo di Sestri Levante and had as protagonists 5 boys from the province of Varese and 11 residents between Sestri Levante and Lavagna. The cause of the violent clash was an accidental physical contact: a light shoulder between two boys walking in the central city streets.

The two boys, one from Varese and the other from Tigullio, started a heated discussion that immediately degenerated. The two were immediately surrounded by their respective friends and a fight broke out, during which, in addition to kicks and punches, an 18 year old from Lavagna was hit by a knife. Upon the arrival of a patrol of the weapon, the boys immediately fled. The injured was rescued, then transferred to the Lavagna hospital where he was treated from the wound in the abdomen judged to be curable in 40 days.

The soldiers of the Nucleo Operativo and of the Carabinieri Stations of Sestri Levante and Lavagna have launched an investigative activity that has made it possible to identify all the participants in the brawl and the perpetrator of the stab. They were all reported in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Ordinary and Juvenile Court of Genoa.
