(ANSA) – SESTRI LEVANTE, 16 SEPT – Sixteen boys reported, including seven minors, for a big fight that broke out at the end of July in Sestri Levante. That night, at the intersection of via XXV aprile, via Palestro and vico Lombardo in Sestri Levante, two groups of five boys from the province of Varese on vacation and 11 young people from Sestri Levante and Lavagna faced each other. According to what was reconstructed by the carabinieri, the two groups would have started arguing over accidental physical contact: a shoulder between two boys who were walking downtown. The two, one from the province of Varese and the other from Tigullio, first began to argue and then went to blows. After a few seconds other boys joined until an 18-year-old boy was injured with a stab. When the patrol arrived, the two groups fled, leaving the wounded man on the ground. The young man was taken to the hospital from where he was discharged with a prognosis of 40 days. The carabinieri have reconstructed what happened by analyzing the video surveillance cameras.
