At the end of the match between Vanoli and Ferraroni Cremona, these are the words of the coach Demis Cavina in the press room: “It’s nice to win this type of matches because, even if it’s very early, they already put you in league rhythm. Despite efforts to make rankings, the difference between the teams this year is minimal and the matches of today they prove it: it is the details that make the difference but it is still too early to judge them and therefore today we won with determination, the group and I would say the desire to win, even if it is still pre-season.
I’m happy because battles help you grow and there was a battle on the pitch tonight. In the first half we played honestly well while in the second we lost our rhythm, we sunk a bit in the substitutions and we didn’t put any open baskets. Instead, Allen, Blake and Iannuzzi showed what their qualities are. We actually shortened the rotations a bit in the third quarter. I did it because this team needs to find its own identity and I wanted the important hierarchies to be understood, even with mistakes. We paid for this in terms of brilliance but then we were good at recovering the game and this was a great quality. “
