(ANSA) – BOLZANO, 02 SEPT – The SVP, shaken in recent months by internal conflicts, collapses in the polls: if you voted on Sunday, only 37% of South Tyroleans would vote for the South Tyrolean party, according to a survey carried out by Apollis for the Suedtiroler Wirtschaftszeitung. At the provincials of 2018 the Volkspartei had still reached 41.9%, while the latest Swz poll last January gave it as much as 42%.
The Lega also fell sharply and now stands at 5% (11.1% to the provincial ones). The Greens, on the other hand, are up sharply (17% compared to 6.8% in 2018), while Team K is recovering from the decline of the last two years and is now at 11%, as well as the Freiheitlichen which rise to 8%. Fdi climbed sharply (from 1.7% to 6%), while Süd-Tiroler Freiheit and Pd are relatively stable with 4% both. The Enzian list is given at 3% and M5S at 2%.
Governor Arno Kompatscher, on the other hand, knows no rivals: in the ranking of approval with 43% he exceeds the consensus of his party and leads Paul Köllensperger of Team K (8%), Brigitte Foppa of the Greens (6%) as well as the secretary Svp Philipp Achammer and Sven Knoll from Süd-Tiroler Freiheit (both 5%).
