(ANSA) – SCIACCA, 02 SEPT – The ninth edition of Azzurro food, a festival dedicated to the local seafaring tradition and to the enhancement of fish and marine ecosystem. 3 days of tastings, show cooking and shows are scheduled. The event takes place in the historic center, between Piazza Duomo and Piazza Scandaliato.
Among the protagonists: the Palermo chef Natale Giunta, who for a few days will transform the Scandaliato square into a large open-air restaurant, offering visitors his elaborations of dishes all based on Sciacca fish.
The protagonist of this edition of Azzurro food will be the pink shrimp, a typical species that has always reproduced especially in the Saccense sea. The show cooking of Azzurra D’Arpa (former competitor of Masterchef), Davide Gallina (chef of the “Donna Floriana”, bistro recently inaugurated in the Torre del Barone Resort of the Mangia’s group) and Francesco Bonomo (world champion of cous cous in 2019). There are also moments of entertainment. The highlight is scheduled for Sunday evening, when Giuseppe Milici and Antonio Zarcone will perform in duo in Piazza Duomo. (HANDLE).
