CAMPOBASSO – After a short summer break, the activity of Federsolidarity – Confcooperative Molise comes to life.
In recent days, in fact, it has returned to meet at the headquarters of Campobassothe Regional Governing Council. The president was present Nino Santorothe vice president Quintiliano Chiacchiari and the councilors Giuseppe Colamaio, Giovanna Di Soccio, Rosa Marcogliese, Carmen Vaccaro, Maria Di Cesare. Three items on the agenda, which recall the national guidelines and which lay the foundations for the activities of the next three years: cooperation and young people, fight against unfair competition and relations with local politics and institutions.
“Our aim – explains the president Nino Santoro – is to bring young people closer to the world of social cooperationso as to create a pool of young, qualified and highly motivated operators “.
On the subject, the Federal Council of Federsolidarity Confcooperative Molise has clear ideas: a series of initiatives will be activated to be carried out with theUniversity of Molisewhich will act as a bridge between the world of volunteering, students and training.
“It’s about iinitiatives already planned and scheduledwhich will materialize with an event that will presumably take place next December 3, on the occasion of World Disability Day ”, Santoro anticipates.
Among the issues that will require greater attention, there is that of participation of social cooperatives in public procurement. If at the national level, incorrect practices are on the agenda, in our small region, this kind of behavior assumes greater importance, also due to the obvious flaws in the relationship between the social and local institutions.
“As for the participation of social cooperatives in tenders in Molise – Santoro remembers – we assist associations and companies that ensure maximum discount, without guaranteeing quality services. But they still win, ”Santoro said.
Federsolidarity Confcooperative Molise will monitor in this senseor, putting in place all the necessary actions to correct the notices and to initiate any appeals. The Federal Council will also take action to develop a credible relationship with politics and with local institutions, essential interlocutors for improving the quality of the third sector, thanks also to the new measures of the PNRR..
“The policy must collaborate and cooperate with the third sector for the implementation of the National Plan – continues the president – this cooperation, to date, is still non-existent; for this reason, as Federsolidarity Confcooperative Molise, we will undertake to start a reciprocal dialogue, also taking advantage of the favorable moment of the electoral campaign, during which our candidates are more predisposed to confrontation ”, concludes Santoro.CopyAMP code
