After six years, the civil case, launched at the Larino court by the former president Frattura and the co-owner Torzi, reaches a sentence to claim the ownership of the entire villa on the sea of Termoli, a story that was also involved in the transmission Le Iene. The court found Frattura and Torzi wrong, rejecting their request. Satisfied the lawyer Massimo Romano, who defended the counterpart and who bitterly comments as follows:
“Iole Varanese left us two years ago, at the age of 95. She died with sadness in the heart of her home unjustly stolen from her and with the boulder of a claim for damages of 3 million euros. Today, after 6 years, the Larino Civil Court has ascertained that the house has always belonged to her and rejected the request for compensation made by Frattura and Torzi, condemning them to pay even the legal costs.
A clear, peremptory pronouncement, unfortunately came too late to allow poor Iole to rejoice with her family after so much pain. For me and my colleagues who for years have taken up the defense in court, firmly believing in her absolute correctness and good faith, today is undoubtedly a beautiful, extraordinary professional satisfaction. As a citizen of Molise, however, I keep asking myself how it was possible that some people could have held positions at the top of regional politics ”.
