A little girl died following a road accident that took place this morning around 10.30 on the motorway A12 Genoa-Livorno between the toll booths of Versilia (Lucca) and Mass, in the direction of Massa, at the height of viaduct 30. From what she learned at the time, the little girl was traveling in a car that would overturn and also go up in flames.

The little girl who died in the accident had 4 years and, as explained, resided in Reggio Calabria. From what was reconstructed at the time by rescuers, the little girl was traveling in a car, together with her parents, of Moroccan origin, and a little sister, who collided with another car with two people, then caught fire: the child died in the impact would have been thrown out of the cockpit.

The motorway section was blocked for traffic both north and south to allow rescue operations with the landing of the Pegasus helicopter, at the end of which the south carriageway was reopened for transit. The traffic police and firefighters intervened at the scene of the accident, together with the health workers sent by 118.
