The Dutch footballer was about to leave the capital already on the penultimate day of the transfer market, but at the last minute everything was blown

One of the players who is leading the Roma fans to spend these last hours of the afternoon of September 1st attached to their smartphone is Justin Kluivert. The Dutch striker was betrothed to Fulham and would become a new player of the Londoners as early as yesterday. The deal that seemed to take the former Ajax away from the capital, however, was blown at the very last moment due to the Football Association. The English football governing body, in fact, denied a work visa to the Giallorossi who was forced to see the negotiation fade.

Like him, everyone was surprised. His entourage and the two clubs, in fact, waited for the FA report to understand what would have been the critical issues that blocked the transfer. In these last hours of the transfer market, however, the turning point has come that everyone was waiting for. Valencia, who in recent months had already sought Amadou Diawara, fell on the talent born in 1999. The proposal convinced both the player and Tiago Pinto who accepted the offer from the Spaniards.

In these minutes, Justin would be on the plane that would take him to Spain where his new adventure will begin. In fact, the Dutchman had never played in La Liga until now. In his career, the 1999 class has crossed the fields of Eredivisie, Serie A, but also Ligue 1, without counting those of the Champions League. Now waiting for him are the pitches of Spain, where to welcome him he will find an old acquaintance of Italian football: Gennaro Gattuso.
