(ANSA) – PISA, 01 SEPT – A corpse in an advanced state of decomposition and half hidden by the bush was found today in a field on the northern outskirts of Pisa during some maintenance work on the green by a private company.
Immediate alarm and on-site intervention by the carabinieri who carried out the surveys for hours before removing the human remains and having them transferred to the institute of forensic medicine of the University of Pisa where other scientific tests will be carried out.
It was a bucket used in the field to hit the body: the worker who made the discovery immediately requested the intervention of the police. For now it has not been possible to trace when the death occurred because the body, of which only some parts were found, was in poor condition. But the first hypothesis is that he had been there for several months and the heat of this summer did the rest making him completely unrecognizable. It is also not clear whether it belongs to a man or a woman.
There would be no obvious signs of violence suffered. For now, the investigators are investigating across the board, starting above all from the complaints of missing persons in recent months not only in the Pisan territory but throughout Italy. (HANDLE).
