(ANSA) – TURIN, 01 SEPT – The celebration of the centenary of the birth of Beppe Fenoglio comes to life with the third season – from 8 September to 31 December – entitled “The 23 days of the City of Alba” as a tribute to the collection of short stories which marked the writer’s literary debut. Among the main events is the exhibition, at the Piera, Pietro and Giovanni Ferrero Foundation in Alba, “I sing arms and man. 100 years with Beppe Fenoglio”, curated by Luca Bufano, one of the greatest scholars of Fenoglian work, open to the public from Saturday 15 October to 8 January 2023. Fenoglio will be granted posthumous honorary citizenship on 2 October in San Benedetto Belbo. The program is very rich and is always updated on the Fenogliano Centenary website www.beppefenoglio22.it. Saturday 10 September at 9 pm at the Teatro Sociale G. Busca in Alba there will be the show “QNCLPS – These We Can’t Forget Them.
Partisan stories of those kids who went into hiding “with texts taken by Beppe Fenoglio, Pietro Chiodi, Enzo Biagi, Emilio Sarzi Amadé, Italo Calvino and Giorgio Bocca. The first phase of the ‘Atlante Fenogliano’ project will be presented on 24 September. to the creation of a digital path that allows a new way of relating to the works of Beppe Fenoglio. In this first phase, a mobile application was created, soon available for ios and Android, within which various itineraries will be available Fenogliani. Tuesday 18 October at 9 pm at the Teatro Sociale in Alba it is the turn of the theatrical show “Un Giorno di Fuoco” directed by Gabriele Vacis and interpreted by Beppe Rosso. (ANSA).
