(ANSA) – TURIN, 01 SEPT – The appointment with free entry to Intesa Sanpaolo museums returns on Sunday 4 October, in line with the initiative of the Ministry of Culture which provides free access to state museums on the first Sundays of month. In particular, at the Gallerie d’Italia Turin are also the last days to visit the exhibitions that inaugurated the new headquarters and which close to the public on September 4th: “The fragile wonder. A journey into changing nature”, survey by the photojournalist Paolo Pellegrin on the relationship between man and his natural environment edited by Walter Guadagnini with the contribution of Mario Calabresi and “From the war to the moon 1945-1969. Looks from the Publifoto Intesa Sanpaolo Archive”, story in 80 photographs taken from the Archive Publifoto of Italy that is reborn from the rubble of the Second World War and the boom of the 1960s up to the greatest conquest of modern man, the landing on the moon, curated by Giovanna Calvenzi and Aldo Grasso. The Turin Galleries of Italy are also the headquarters of the Intesa Sanpaolo Publifoto Archive – with about 7 million shots taken from the 1930s to the 1990s by one of the main Italian photojournalism agencies – and exhibit on the main floor, in the stately rooms, a selection of works from the Group’s collections including the pictorial cycle of the ancient Oratory of the Compagnia di San Paolo owned by the Bank.
