There is less and less to the expiration of the contract of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara. In six days, the two will no longer be linked to Milan, but the optimism remains of reaching the renewal before 30 June: there will be hardly any signatures this weekend, more likely they will arrive in the first days of the next. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported it this morning, explaining that there are still some details to settle before arriving at the white smoke anxiously awaited by all the Milan fans.
LATEST DETAILS – Agreement on the main aspects has already been found, while on other issues the balance is still to be found. In the Rossoneri’s home, optimism continues to be felt, but clearly the signatures of Maldini and Massara are needed to settle the issue definitively and effectively unlock the AC Milan market. The delay on the renewals of the two executives is heavily affecting the Devil’s purchasing campaign, with some operations that are likely to skip despite having been set up several months ago.
MARKET BLOCKED – While waiting for an extension, the Rossoneri director and manager continue to work anyway: yesterday, for example, the two met in Milan the Roma director, Tiago Pinto, with whom they spoke above all about Alessandro Florenzi, who will become a new AC Milan player for around two million euros. Nicolò Zaniolo also touched on the topic, for which, however, there is no negotiation given the Giallorossi continue to ask very high figures for his card. Sven Botman and Renato Sanches are also waiting for news, on which Newcastle and PSG respectively are in strong pressure. The tracks leading to Charles De Ketelaere and Hamed Traoré also remain alive, but without the signatures of Maldini and Massara the AC Milan market cannot take off.
