(mi-lorenteggio.com) Milan, 23 June 2022. The Atlas of digital art presented this morning at the ‘Meet Center’ in Milan.
Institutional authorities, artists, gallery owners and specialized press intervened at the premier organized by Mariagrazia Mattei in collaboration with the Cariplo Foundation and the Lombardy Region.
The inaugural conference for the three days of works dedicated to the new frontier of digital art was held at the auditorium in viale Vittorio Veneto to trace the route that will lead to the formation of a true Milanese district of contemporary digital art.
“We are present in this sector as in other very important and avant-garde areas of information technology and technology” underlined the Regional Councilor for Innovation and Research Fabrizio Sala.
“I am thinking – he continued – of the recently launched blockchain control system. I am also thinking of the recent funding for research, innovation and development and, again, the agreement for the transmission of quantum data that in recent days we signed with the Milan Polytechnic and the Italian Army. The communication interface is changing and more and more often we find ourselves having to anticipate the times. The organizers of this event and this highly prepared audience deserve all our commitment ”.
“The digital atlas must be in motion – remarked the president of Fondazione Cariplo, Giovanni Fosti – becoming a lever of transformation not only for art but also for society as a whole. Investing in culture has always brought great opportunities and Fondazione Cariplo has been doing so for thirty years “.
Among the most notable events, called ‘working tables’, the debate entitled’ Immersive art. From virtual reality to the metaverse ‘which aims to interpret the latest developments of this new technology capable of totally changing our way of life.
