Today, 23 June 2022, 6,879 new patients positive for Covid-19 infection were registered in the Lazio region, 286 more than yesterday. The swabs carried out in the last 24 hours totaled 29,641, of which 24,667 antigenic and 4,974 molecular: the ratio between positive swabs and positive patients is 23.2%. Moreover, today there are 4,688 people healed and 9 dead.
As communicated with the daily bulletin on the progress of coronavirus cases, the councilor for Health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D’Amato, continues the growth trend of cases on a weekly basis of 53%. Finally, in Rome, the total cases are 4,141, while in the provinces there are 1338.
Covid hospitalization and intensive care in Lazio
In the territories of the Lazio region today 128368 people are in home isolation, while the total number of positive cases is 128971. In the hospitals there are 553 patients hospitalized in ordinary wards, while the intensive care units employed are 50, 5 less than in yesterday. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 11436 people have died, 1520906 recovered out of a total of 1661313 cases examined.
