Excellence in the Marches: Atletico Ascoli put on a show against Marina, 3-1 and reach the top of the standings – picenotime

L’Athletic Ascoli overcame 3-1 the Marina at the “Don Mauro Bartolini” stadium in the match valid for the 18th day of the championship of Excellence Marche.

Mister Giandomenico presents Battistelli again between the posts and up front focuses on the trio Di Ruocco, Minnozzi and Filiaggi. In the 32nd minute Di Ruocco’s perfect cross for Filiaggi’s header with Mancini performing a real miracle. At 36′ Atletico advantage, Minnozzi recovers a loose ball on the edge and throws an uncatchable right foot for Mancini. In the 38th minute Minnozzi hits a delicious ball on the edge and starts a lob that goes just over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Esposito swallows half of the host defense and doubles the lead but the referee disallows for a suspected offside position. The second half started immediately with a Euro goal from Di Ruocco who left four opponents on the spot and beat Mancini 2-0. Six minutes go by, an illuminating launch from Esposito for Di Ruocco who passes an opponent and puts her in the middle of the area for Filiaggi who scores the third goal in a slide. Atletico now administers but in the 68th minute misses a ball outgoing with Casale, Sbarbati takes advantage of it and punches Battistelli. In the last minutes Marina tries first by hitting a free kick and then with Sbarbati who hits the head with a sure shot but Gabrielli on the line saves on the fly.

Atletico Ascoli obtains the tenth success of the season and extends at the top of the standings, climbing to 37 points in view of the next match on the Forsempronese field.
