The world of entertainment mourns the premature death of Antonella Fragiello, a Neapolitan from Casoria, a former finalist of Miss Italy in 2004. A tumor took her away, she would have turned 33 on August 11th. For a few days, with the worsening of her health, she was hospitalized in a hospital but not even the people who were next to her imagined such a sudden epilogue. On January 15th, on his profile of FacebookAntonella had dedicated her last post to her husband Carlo: «I’ve been away from you for a few days and there isn’t a minute of the day when I don’t think about how lucky I am to have you in my life. Antonella Fragiello disappeared yesterday even if the news only spread today. After participating in Miss Italy, and arriving at the final in Salsomaggiore, Antonella, who was 19 at the time, experienced a long period of successful television appearances and linked her image as a young and beautiful Mediterranean girl to advertising campaigns. She is a sensitive and altruistic girl, she has also made herself known for the solidarity initiatives that have seen her as a protagonist in Naples and beyond. Social networks have been filled, for hours, with messages from friends and acquaintances saddened by the news of the disappearance of the former model. «Sweet Antonellina, you have fought so much and the pains have been within you for a long time. Now that you had finally found love, peace … it’s not possible, life sometimes rages on”, writes her friend Rosa also with reference to her recent marriage. “Your beauty will make Heaven shine,” adds Claudia. Someone, still on his Facebook profile, wrote this morning that the last farewell to the ex showgirl will be held tomorrow, Monday 23 January, at 12, in the parish of San Tommaso in the Neapolitan district of San Pietro a Patierno.
