Pending today’s data, there were 220 new positives recorded in the last 24 hours in Liguria, compared to 559 molecular swabs in addition to 2,079 rapid antigen tests, according to the regional bulletin of Sunday 8 January 2023, which reports 656,120 positive cases total since the beginning of the emergency.
The province with the highest number of positives is that of Genoa with 4,994 (121 fewer than yesterday), followed by La Spezia, where the positives are 1,310, 1,410 and 1,099 in the provinces of Savona and Imperia respectively. There are 270 positive people residing in Liguria, but outside the region, while 230 swabs are being tested. Total 9,313 people currently positive, 248 less than yesterday.
There are 324 hospitalized (like yesterday), of which 7 in intensive care (one less than yesterday). In home isolation, i.e. in therapy within the walls of the house, there are instead 4,010 people, +46 in the last 24 hours. There are 468 newly recovered, for a total of 640,998 since the beginning of the emergency
The total victims are 5,809, like yesterday, i.e. today’s bulletin does not report any deaths. 3,708,421 vaccines were administered, 9 of which in the last 24 hours.
