Alex Tursi died while he was doing what he did best, which is helping people. He was a 44-year-old Roman health worker. He is the victim of the road accident on the A12. He worked in a clinic in Casal Palocco. To reconstruct what happened is the traffic police.
Tursi, according to the hypothesis, would have got out of his Fiat Pand to take the reflective jacket kept behind it and give first aid to an elderly couple who had had an autonomous accident. He didn’t have time to reach the wounded though. A Fiat Croma overwhelmed him. Then another rear-end collision with three other cars.
Firefighters are also on site. For Alex Tursi there was nothing to do. It is not excluded that among the causes of the accident there may be the excessive speed of some cars. The people involved in the accident, as per practice, were subjected to alcohol and drug tests. The cars have been impounded.
Tursi was from Rieti. He had recently moved to Rome. Everyone remembers him with a big heart, always smiling, kind and willing to help others. “The beauty of memories is that everything will remain there exactly as it is,” wrote Emanuela on Facebook, posting a photo together. For Andrea it is “news that shocked and deeply disturbed me”. He had met Tursi “about 15 years ago on an excursion in the Velino mountains. An extraordinary boy, always with a smile and with a huge heart always available towards others. Dear friend, you didn’t deserve such a sad ending”..
