(ANSA) – PERUGIA, 02 JAN – “The Municipality of Città di Castello will be able to invest 925 thousand euros from the Pnrr for the demolition and reconstruction on the same site as the Fiocco di Neve nursery school in Trestina”. The mayor Luca Secondi thus announced, together with the councilors for public works Riccardo Carletti and the educational services Letizia Guerri, that the municipal administration was the beneficiary of the Pnrr funds provided for in the plan for nursery schools and kindergartens and education and care services for early childhood from the Miur program “Futura – The school for tomorrow’s Italy”.
“An important new goal that is achieved in the wake of the work that we as a municipal administration carry out every day to guarantee safe, modern and sustainable school buildings for the new generations of students and their families”, specify Secondi, Carletti and Guerri in thanking the personnel of the institution “which made it possible to cross another important milestone in the process of acquiring funding for the redevelopment and innovation of the city and its services through the Pnrr, from which we have already raised over 30 million euros”.
The construction of the new nursery school – explains the Municipality – will be characterized by the setting up of teaching spaces adapted to the most modern pedagogical models. The building will occupy an area identical to the current one with a view to promoting urban regeneration interventions without soil consumption, but will house more children, guaranteeing a maximum capacity of 45 units. With the aim of optimizing the energy performance of the new kindergarten, which according to the parameters set by the Pnrr will have to reach class A1 in any case, the Municipality will also propose the project for financing with the Gse-Conto Termica funds. “It means aiming to achieve the Nzeb (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standard – specifies the institution – which allows for a school complex with high energy efficiency and autonomous from the point of view of consumption”. The project proposal financed by the MIUR also provides for the re-functionalization of the external areas, based on the most advanced pedagogical theories. (HANDLE).
