(ANSA) – NAPLES, NOVEMBER 25 – The trial for the international abduction of two minors will begin only in March 2026 in which a woman of Colombian nationality is accused who, after accusing her partner of violence (charges from which the man was acquitted ) fled with her children to her country of origin.
The First Criminal Section of the Court of North Naples yesterday rejected the request to anticipate the trial presented by the lawyer Sergio Pisani, lawyer of Vincenzo Fierro who, by the ex, was unjustly accused of 15 years of ill-treatment. During placement for protective purposes in a group home, the woman took advantage of a distraction to flee to Colombia, taking her children away.
Fierro denounced his partner and over the years more has launched appeals to the institutions so far all unheard. Now the further joke: the first hearing of the criminal trial set for 2026.
“I consider it unacceptable – comments the lawyer Pisani – that for such serious crimes the State can fix the request for judgment made by the public prosecutor at four years without considering that the investigations have already lasted years. In this way the conviction for this woman it will come when the minors will already be of age and no longer have any memory of their father. I ask that the Minister intervene because this is not justice”, concludes the lawyer. (HANDLE).
