The new bond fund with income distribution, set up and managed by BancoPosta Fondi Sgr, the asset management company of the Poste Italiane Group, can be subscribed until 23 December, which aims to benefit from the current yield on bonds, mainly Italian. This is what we read in a note from the Post Office.
“BancoPosta Obbligazionario Italia 6 anni – explains the company – is an investment solution linked to the current level of interest rates in Italy, with management that aims to actively select, purchase, maintain and monitor a portfolio of securities, mainly Italians, until their natural expiry”. The fund, explains Poste, aims to “‘capture’ over the next six years yields that are considered interesting today”. “The main characteristics of the fund are the investment in mainly Italian government bonds and corporate bonds, the predefined duration of the investment and the distribution of an annual income. The objective of BancoPosta Obbligazionario Italia 6 anni is to achieve a return on the portfolio in line with that expressed on average by corporate and government bond financial instruments of similar duration, through an investment in securities denominated in euro mainly of Italian issuers”, concludes the note.
