The engines start meeting industry linked to the automotive and leisure segment with the launch of the “Lazio on the Road” operation, promoted by the Tourism Department of the Lazio Region, in collaboration with the Rome & Lazio Convention Bureau, Unindustria and ACI-Vallelunga.

At the famous “Piero Taruffi” racetrack, a few kilometers from Rome, the promotional initiative was presented to present the Lazio region as a candidate for hosting prestigious events linked to the main international car brands, such as, for example, the presentation of new models . In addition to the setting of the Vallelunga racetrack, one of the most important circuits that has hosted Formula E competitions for years, the intention is to propose the cultural and tourist-accommodation excellences of the region that have always represented a winning plus for meeting operators industry.

A targeted strategy as declared by the Councilor for Tourism and Local Authorities of the Lazio Region, Valentina Corrado: “We have promoted a project capable of telling the potential of our territory with highly emotional promotional activities and experiences. Through an online & offline communication campaign on the Italian and foreign media and articulated with fam trips, road shows and initiatives linked to tourism fairs and the meeting industry, the Lazio Region intends to further integrate the tourism chain with the other local economic sectors and attract new and growing market targets capable of strengthening and redeveloping the tourist offer of the Lazio destination. We will take the product abroad, to countries that host the headquarters of the main automotive companies and to the most important international agencies in the sector, intercepting the international automotive business segment to stimulate investments in Lazio.”
