There are a total of 26 interventions against hydrogeological instability that will be financed in Umbria thanks to the funds of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the co-financing of the Region. In recent days, in fact, the decree was published with which Palazzo Donini gives the go-ahead for the allocation of resources, assigning them to the various implementing bodies. In all we are talking about 25.5 million euros, of which 20.6 come from the Pnrr.
THE TABLE WITH ALL THE INTERVENTIONS
I collapsed The post-pandemic plan envisages a total of 15.06 billion euros for the protection of the territory and water resources; in particular, 2.49 will be used to finance the “Measures for the management of flood risk and for the reduction of hydrogeological risk”. Structural interventions to secure the territory and reduce the risk related to landslides or floods and non-structural ones, such as works for the redevelopment of the works, monitoring and prevention. Of these resources, 1.2 billion are earmarked for areas affected by disasters for a series of already approved projects and for new ones.
The interventions Those at the center of the Region’s decree fall precisely in this area. The implementing subjects, as can be seen from the table, are mostly the reclamation consortia, the Municipalities and the Provinces. The project that will absorb the most resources is that of the Region for 4.8 million, through which the area of the Montemolino bridge will be consolidated, while three million will be used for a series of works on the Paglia between the Fosso dei Frati and the Albergo La stream Ninth, in Orvieto. For the Municipality of Perugia there are 2.3 million for the Pretola bank (plus another 700 thousand for Villa Pitignano), the scene of numerous problems over the years, and the same for the Tiber-Nera Consortium for the basins of some ditches..
The works With another 1.2 million, the Consorzio Val di Chiana Romana and Val di Paglia will take care of the consolidation of the Nestore and its tributaries; similar figure for the Province of Perugia and for the provincial road 207 of Caicambiucci, in Gubbio. One million, on the other hand, will be used for the Umbrian reclamation consortium to fix the Spina stream in Spoleto. Other important resources will be allocated to the consolidation of Viceno, in Castelviscardo (951 thousand euros), for the slopes below the center of Deruta (920 thousand euros), for the Collazzone landslide along the provincial road 421 (847 thousand euros) and so on. All important interventions in a region, Umbria, where all 92 Municipalities are classified as hydrogeological risk.CopyAMP code
