For all, a negative antigenic or molecular test will be required to get out of isolation

With Circular no. 0037615 of 31 August 2022, the Ministry of Health has updated the procedures for managing cases and close contacts in the Covid-19 case. Here are all the details.

People who have tested positive for a molecular or antigenic diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2 are tested for isolation, as follows:

  • For cases that have always been asymptomatic or they were symptomatic at first but are asymptomatic for at least 2 daysthe isolation can end after 5 daysas long as a testantigenic or molecular, which results negativeat the end of the period of isolation.
  • In case of persistent positivityyou can interrupt theisolation at the end of 14th day from the first positive swabregardless of whether the test is performed.
