The work is inspired by an ancient Welsh legend (“Tale of Taliesin”) to tell an imaginary continuation. But it is set in the mountains of Molise (Monte di Mezzo), in an invisible world (Terre dell’Awen) and in Naples in 1595. Awen is a Welsh word and in its root “wel” means breath. The Awen was the poetic inspiration that gave the ancient bards a prophetic wisdom.
