Third day of protest in five days. Rome ring road still blocked, motorists furious with someone who even physically dragged some young people to the side of the road and traffic blocked between Casilina and Appia. Moments of tension this morning, around 7:40 am today, June 24th, in one of the most flooded arteries in Italy.

“Go to work, clear the road”, the car drivers shout. Someone was also blocked, who had to go to the hospital: “I have to operate. There is also an ambulance here. Take off.” And then, again, someone went to the streets in fact dragging some boy to the side of the road. To try to calm the spirits, incandescent, the traffic police arrived on the spot around 8:20.

It is yet another day of protest by the Last Generation environmental activists of the Extinction Rebellion group. After the numerous blitzes implemented since last October on the occasion of the G20 which was held in Rome, the activists have returned to protest, once again – as already happened a few days ago – by lying down and blocking traffic, in full opening hours. focuses on the great ring road.
